As of February 7, 2022, anyone applying for a Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) must complete an approved ELDT course before becoming eligible for the CDL skills exam. Upon finishing this program, your results will be electronically submitted to the FMCSA’s Training Provider Registry. Testing facilities will confirm your course completion through the registry before administering any exams.
